Fringe Baby: Outfit of the Day

Coming at ya with an outfit of the day post. At the time of writing this, we are sitting in the middle of global pandemic and honestly…I wasn’t feeling super excited about blogging. But then I realized that we all need a little break from the headlines and hysteria! So let’s go ahead and get these looks together for that first post-quarantine outing because we turning heads, okay?! I don’t know about you, but I’m laying my outfit out on my bed like it’s the first day of school.

So let’s get into it! This one is all about black on black chic appeal, plus lots of fun fringe!

Black Fringe Skirt

You guys, this skirt…I am obsessed. It’s satin and stretchy in all of the right places. I found this one at Akira and I will make a sizing note: if you’re on the curvy side, size up. My hips pulled the skirt up a little bit but I made it work.

Platform Heels

So I picked up these killer Michael Kors Platform Heels for an event and never ended up wearing them. I knew they would pair perfectly with a mini skirt, to balance out the heavy weight of the platform. The best part? The heels has a super slick metallic block that sparkles like rhinestones. They’re also really comfy.

HAIR

When I was styling this look, I turned to Pinterest for a little inspiration. I knew I wanted to play up the fringe with a flirty ponytail, so I went for my go-to braided pony and added in some extensions that I had on hand.
