2019 Target Summer Style Favs List

Hey guys! I’m gonna make this quick because -to do list- but, I wanted to share a few of my favorite items that I’ve been rocking from Target this summer. Target has recently introduced a few new lines of clothing, accessories and home decor with their wave of revamping. When I originally heard about some of my favorite lines like Mossimo and Merona being discontinued, I was a little worried. But it’s safe to say that most of our tried and true pieces can still be found, plus a ton of bigger and better styles from new brands like Wild Fable, A New Day and Project 62.

I had to grab a few items for my trips to San Fran, Lake Tahoe and Chicago for the Summer Smash Festival. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping from big hitters like Fashionnova and Asos. Since I was crunched for time, I couldn’t wait on delivery. So, I took a quick trip to Target and get this - I STAYED UNDER BUDGET. How, I honestly don’t know. We all know what kind of rabbit whole activities occur once you walk through those red doors. At any rate, check out a few of my favs here!

This Strappy Little Number

I’ve already worn this dress thrice and well…sorry, not sorry. It’s just that cute and cozy, and I get tons of compliments. I wore it while being extremely touristy in San Francisco and it was perfect. It’s even survived an outdoor concert/twerkfest and I must say it allows for optimal hip movement. So there’s that. I went with a size Large, but actually could have gone down a little in the waist/bust, which was surprising as I am usually in a Large or XL. Bonus: #ItHasPockets. Shop it here.

The Denim Jacket

Okay, so full disclosure - I lost my all time favorite denim boyfriend jacket from Urban Outfitters, and I’ve been on a hunt for a good replacement. I’m still pretty sad about it, but it’s time to move on. This one by Wild Fable was a pretty good match! Light denim, distressed and comfy. I wore it over my dresses and layered it with a few other looks. My only draw it that the sleeves are a little short for someone as tall as me, so I had to wear them rolled up. It also made it impossible to tie around the waist. Not bad though. You can grab it here.

The Work Bag That Keeps on Giving

This is the one. I really feel like a sales rep at this point, as I’ve demo’d this baby a few times to friends and strangers that have inquired about it. I’m always on the go with my laptop, camera and schedule book and its harder than one would expect to find a solid bag that can hold all of this. This thing has saved my life! Its a cute pleather convertible backpack/tote with tons of storage space. It looks really chic, but is super practical. There’s an interior sleeve for your laptop or tablet, plus pockets for other essentials. I’ve been able to fit my DSLR, Macbook, charger and wallet with ease. To my peeps at Target, if you need an ambassador, I’m your girl. You can grab this commuter backpack by A New Day here.

Distressed Capris

I’m all about comfort these days, so I’m in to loose fitting pants and tops that can still bring some style factor. I threw on these destructed wide leg jeans with a cute little tank during our girls trip in Lake Tahoe. I also tried the same look with a black blazer and loafers, which was perfect for the office (unfortunately I didn’t take any pics that day, but give it a try!). Check out these high rise wide leg denim pants here. Oh yeah, sandals and tank are Target too!
