The Pink Label Congo Collection from Hanifa
I don’t know about you, but earlier in this phase of apocolypse, I was browsing the internets and I was stopped dead in my digital tracks by a “runway” showing from Hanifa. This wasn’t a normal fashion show. Note - everyone was on lockdown at the time. So what we were seeing was one of the most incredible digital renderings of lifelike models and apparel I have ever seen. I think what took me by surprise the most was the realistic body shapes, curves and of course, these stunning silhouettes and patterns from Hanifa.

So anywho, I saw this collection and I said “oh honey, I gots to get me some of this”. So I ordered the Jolie Maxi Dress IMMEGIATELY. I fell in love with the caramel color - it compliments my skin just right!
Quick review: great packaging and fast delivery. Material quality is excellent and has a bit of stretch. Nice and thick, so it felt worth every penny. This dress has some boning to sculpt your body. I had a little trouble fitting the “boob cups” in the XL, but this is common for me since I am about a DD in bra size and well…these are usually no match for me. The only draw back - I wish there was a latch hook above the zip closure in the back and some garment strings for hangers. Very minor. I love that you can style the length of the dress to fit you. Next time, I will try it at a shorter length, and I will play around with some different undergarments.
Suffice to say, I’ll be purchasing more pieces from Hanifa soon! They know how to dress a curvy woman. Let me know your thoughts!
